My Biography
Phil is a U.S. Navy Special Operations veteran, certified USCCA Firearms Instructor, and Verified Colorado CHP Instructor serving Colorado and Utah.
Phil founded Raven One Defense because he believes good training should make people feel more confident, more prepared, and more connected to the responsibility of owning or carrying a firearm. His approach is shaped by real-world experience, but centered on the student in front of him.
Every student brings a different story, comfort level, and reason for training. Phil’s goal is not to force everyone into the same mold, but to meet people where they are, build on what they already do well, and help them grow safely and responsibly.
