This is a one day class which satisfies all training requirements as outlined in Michigan Public Act 719 for first time CPL applicants or renewal of an existing concealed pistol license. This class is based on the USCCA concealed carry course and includes a minimum of 3 hours range time. A certificate is awarded upon completion of the class. This is the classroom portion of the USCCA AR-15 class. It is the prerequisite to the range time. It is powerpoint/lecture based in the classroom. If you already have your AR then bring it to class. No ammo is allowed in the classroom. You will be learning the following: Safety History and popularity About the AR-15 Loading, unloading and clearing Maintenance and cleaning Accessorizing the AR-15 Support gear AR-15 shooting basics Zeroing an AR-15 Around the house and personal defense Transitioning to the range

Tell me if this sounds familiar. You took your 8-hour concealed carry course as mandated by the government, but you still don’t feel like you’re a good enough shot with your pistol. Three hours on the range will satisfy the Michigan CPL training requirements, but it doesn’t make you a gunfighter by any stretch of the imagination. You still don’t know why your bullet group is always low, or why it’s always high or to the left or to the right. Join the club, because most people spend their whole lives throwing lead down range and never learn how to correctly shoot their pistol with tactical accuracy and precision. This class focuses on tactical rapid-fire accuracy at close range, but also pinpoint precision out to 75 feet. This 4-hour class will establish a baseline of knowledge that you will use for the rest of your shooting career. Class size will be limited to 5 people or less. To take the class you will need the following: -125 rounds of ammo -Your carry pistol -Eye and ear protection -Two magazines The cost of class is $75, and you must pay in advance for this class. If you have questions or would like to sign up, contact Skip Coryell at: 269-838-5586 or skipcoryell@mwtac.com

There are 3 skills you need to master to prevail in a gunfight: "Drawing, moving and shooting." In the "Tactical Accuracy and Precision" class you learn how to shoot, but what about moving and drawing? Most CPL classes don't teach that. Common sense tells you that if you stand in one place during a gunfight you're probably going to die. So you have to learn how to draw as you move in order to survive. But you have to do it properly, that is, in a way that's efficient, strong, fast and safe. But here's the problem: most CPL instructors don't have the training and the know-how to teach you how to do this. That's where I come in. I've trained with some of the best in the country: Rob Pincus, Massaad Ayoob, Bob Housenga, Dave Spaulding and John Correia.

Remember, if you're going to be in a gunfight - you might as well win! There is no 2nd place!

To take the class you will need the following: -150 rounds of ammo -Your carry pistol -Your carry holster (sturdy & safe) -Eye and ear protection -3 magazines The cost of class is $75, and you must pay in advance for this class. If you have questions or would like to sign up, contact Skip Coryell at: 269-838-5586

"I was treated fairly and taught well. I would suggest Skip to anyone I know who is inquiring about obtaining a CPL license. "
