This class is for new shooters. It covers how to operate your own pistol, basic safety and gun handling to prepare you for taking the Oregon Concealed Handgun permit class. This class combines range time on decision making targets and classroom reactive video simulator using infrared training pistols on a 120 inch screen. Each video scenario is controlled by the instructor to react to the shooters actions and commands. This class addresses Shoot/No Shoot situations reflecting real life responses followed by evaluation and discussion.
Meets all Oregon requirements for CHL training plus much more including awareness and avoidance training. Oregon CHL is accepted by over 30 other states and this course is also accepted by many states across the country for their own carry permits. Class includes simulator time plus live fire on range.
