Our Low Light Pistol Shooting Class is a comprehensive training program designed to equip participants with the skills and techniques necessary to safely and effectively use a handgun in low light conditions, where visibility is limited.
This course focuses on essential skills for low light scenarios, including flashlight utilization. Participants will learn various methods for holding a flashlight while operating their pistol, such as the Harries, Roger/SureFire, Neck-Index, and FBI techniques, each suited to different situations and or preferences. We emphasize the importance of maintaining proper firearm control and sight alignment while using a flashlight to identify and engage potential threats.
Students will also learn when to use a flashlight judiciously, understanding that revealing their position too early can be a tactical disadvantage. The class covers shooting drills, target identification, and decision-making in low light situations to enhance situational awareness and safety.
By the end of this course, participants will be better prepared to navigate low light environments while effectively employing their pistol and flashlight, ultimately enhancing their personal security and safety.

Part of the PATH Program (Pistol 1 → Pistol 2 → Pistol 3 → EDC)
Pistol 2 builds on the core skills from Pistol 1, introducing students to the fundamentals of drawing from a holster, safe re-holstering, and reloading from a pocket or magazine carrier.
In this course, students refine their draw stroke through proper technique, optimized gear setup, and focused repetition. We emphasize both safety and efficiency at every step.
Performance Benchmark: Class record: 0.98 seconds from draw to hit at 10 yards on an IDPA A-zone target. Course standard: under 2.0 seconds.
EDC: Everyday Carry & Defensive Shooting The Final Course in the PATH Program (Pistol 1 → Pistol 2 → Pistol 3 → EDC)
Our EDC course is designed for experienced shooters ready to take their skills into the real world. This advanced class focuses on practical application of defensive shooting techniques using your actual everyday carry (EDC) pistol, gear, and clothing.
You’ll train from real-life positions—standing, seated, behind cover, in and around vehicles—and work through high-stress scenarios that reflect the unpredictable nature of personal defense. Emphasis is placed on concealment, access, movement, and making smart decisions under pressure.
This is not a marksmanship class—this is about fighting with the gun you carry every day.
Key Skills Covered:
Drawing from concealment in varied positions
Shooting from compromised or non-traditional stances
Engaging threats while moving, using cover, or seated
Gear evaluation and setup for real-world readiness
Threat recognition and response under duress
This course closes out the PATH program by bridging the gap between training and real-life defense.
AR15-style rifles or carbines introduce a new level of complexity compared to handguns. This course includes operation of the moving parts, field stripping, cleaning, and maintenance, along with basic marksmanship fundamentals.
