Marine Veteran | Law Enforcement Professional | Firearms & Tactical Operations Expert Larry is a Marine Corps veteran and highly experienced law enforcement professional with 28 years of distinguished service as an Officer with the California Highway Patrol. Throughout a career dedicated to public safety, Larry has developed extensive expertise in firearms training, tactical operations, and law enforcement firearms proficiency. With a deep-rooted foundation in the Marine Corps, Larry honed critical skills in marksmanship, tactical deployment, and operational readiness skills that seamlessly transitioned into a successful law enforcement career.

This course satisfies the SB2 mandated training for CCW renewal for Riverside Sheriff, Menifee, Murrieta, Banning, Beaumont, Hemet, Pomona, City of Riverside.
RSO recommends starting the renewal process 180 days prior to the expiration date of your CCW.
Class fee: $170. INCLUDES range fees and qualification with up to 6 firearms (no additional charge per gun).

CCW is an intermediate course that prepares you to carry your gun(s) concealed in public. You should have basic knowledge, understanding and ability to manipulate, handle and shoot your firearms safely, prior to his class. You must own and have all handguns you desire to have on your CCW be registered in your name in the state of California.
This course meets the requirements for Riverside County Initial CCW, Riverside Sheriff, Menifee, Murrieta, Banning, Beaumont, Hemet, Pomona, City of Riverside.
-Class fee: $320. Includes range fees and qualification with up to 6 firearms (no additional charge per gun). -Deposit: $160 due at registration. Remaining balance is due on day of class.

This dynamic and practical course is designed for responsibly armed citizens who carry concealed and want to take their defensive handgun skills to the next level. Our CCW Defensive Pistol Course goes beyond the basics, focusing on real-world scenarios and the skills necessary to survive a lethal force encounter.
Course Highlights Include:
Drawing from Concealment: Master safe and efficient presentation of your firearm from a concealed holster under stress. Movement & Engagement: Learn to move off the “X” while engaging threats, maintaining accuracy and awareness. Use of Cover & Concealment: Understand the tactical differences between cover and concealment and how to utilize them effectively. Seated Shooting Positions: Develop the ability to draw and shoot from seated positions such as vehicles or restaurants. Tactical & Emergency Reloads: Gain confidence in managing your ammunition under pressure. Threat Assessment & Situational Awareness: Sharpen your decision-making and threat evaluation skills during realistic drills.
This is not a beginner course. Participants must have a valid CCW permit (or equivalent training), a working knowledge of their firearm, and experience with basic marksmanship and safe gun handling.
Required Gear:
Concealed carry kydex holster (IWB preferred), Semi-auto handgun or revolver, 3 magazines or speed loaders the more the merrier, 300–500 rounds of factory ammunition, Eye & ear protection, sturdy belt , Concealment garment (jacket, sweatshirt, etc.), Closed toe shoes (no sandals or crocks), Chair.
Prepare to train hard, think fast, and build the confidence to defend yourself and your loved ones. This is NOT a beginners course and you must have a valid CCW permit (or equivalent training).
By possessing a non-resident Arizona and Utah concealed weapons permit, you can carry a firearm concealed in 38 states (not including California, unless you have a valid CCW for the state of California).
The course fee is $90 for one or $150 for both. $20 deposit required upon registration with the remaining balance due via cash or card the day of class.
This course consists of classroom instruction only. There is no shooting qualification. Permits will be good for 5 years. Renewals are done online.
We will provide all materials needed for you to submit a completed application, including pre-addressed envelopes, fingerprint cards and photo. We will assist in filling out all paperwork correctly. Students are responsible for postage and individual state fees.
*You must bring photo ID *If you are a US citizen not born in the US, you must bring you passport.
