My Biography
USCCA Certified Instructor & Counselor, and the following NRA Certifications: Basic Pistol, Personal Defense Inside the Home, Personal Defense Outside the Home, Refuse to be a Victim, and Chief Range Safety Officer. As a Life Member of the NRA and Member of USCCA, I dedicate my time to personal training of individuals that wish to learn at all levels of Pistol and Unarmed Defense. Classes are small to allow personal training time for each and every student. Private classes and Family Classes are available that include all ages. Perfect for students just receiving their CWL Certification. This class fills in the gaps with additional important information about firearms, handling skills, and basic defensive skills. We cover some of the basics like cleaning and maintenance of your firearm... what ammo to use, etc. We all need more shooting time and this will provide that with skilled instructors working with you on the range. Consider this class as an extension of your basic experience, but is extremely important that you get ready for Defensive Shooting Skills Level 1. Students that have been away from shooting for a while will find this class very helpful in re-establishing skills and knowledge. This is a high level defense class designed teach close threat situations. Prior levels of training are required to qualify. Special Class given by IMI of Florida (Israeli Military Industries). This three day class is based on the Homeland Security training that is provided to civilians. While very involved and covering a huge amount of information, this class is approved for those with low to high levels of experience. YES... even a beginner can take this class. Having a RSO Certification is a huge plus for any Instructor. Any civilian can also be certified which means that they are also very aware of range safety even if they are not working at the location. It is a PLUS for everyone. Hands on experience using a variety of medical supplies, equipment and tourniquets. Includes certificate for the "Stop the Bleed" Coalition. This class covers high levels of movement, handgun manipulation, single hand operation, ground and team operation. All drills are done at the capable physical speed of the student and allows those with physical limitations to participate. This class is interactive and discusses the 10+ subjects of planning and training. You will come away from this class with a very different attitude and goal for your own level of being prepared. Come with an open mind and be prepared to discuss your own concerns.
Survival Training in a wooded environment. The outdoors is our classroom and you will learn the many way ways to surviving the initial 72 hours of a serious situation. In-depth discussion on defending the home and home environment. A wide list of topics and scenarios including laws governing defensive situations. Range time will include shooting a variety of firearms (including rifles and shotguns) that may be used in a defensive situation. You may bring your own firearms but a variety will be on hand and provided with ammo.
