My Biography
Lawrence “Benny” Wilson has been shooting for fun and sport since he was 7 years old and has been a professor in Higher Education for over 35 years. He is an instructor for the NRA as well as the USCCA. He is passionate about firearm safety and teaching all ages about the shooting sports and self Defense. Benny teaches Classes in lethal and non-lethal force for the individual, groups and organizations including seminars for Homeowners Associations, Churches, Schools, and other organizations. Basic Handgun Fundamentals is designed to discuss Florida's Permitless Carry and how it applies to you. Course includes safety, clearing malfunctions, personal awareness, and Florida statute 790 will be covered. Course meets Florida CWP training. This course is designed for shooters with handgun experience .
Regardless of if you are new shooter or have been shooting for years, this course provides one on one instruction to improve your shooting skills be it for marksmanship or defensive shooting. Live fire and Sirt Training included!
Course is designed for couples that want to learn how to work together in building their shooting skill to defend their home and family, as well as protection outside the home. Course includes: • Legal implications of carrying a firearm. • Use of Force. • Building your self-defense plan. • Live fire on range to improve handgun fundamentals.
This course is designed for people with limited to no handgun experience. Course includes: -Handgun Safety Rules. -How to operate your firearm safely. -Florida Laws for CWP
This a 4-hour introductory Women's class. The course is designed for women that are new to firearms and shooting. This class is especially welcoming to women who are brand new to the shooting experience! The class will include safety, basic firearm fundamentals, and beginning-level dry fire and live fire drills. The course also addresses why we train. The course is designed to be fun, educational and address our concerns about carrying a firearm. Two hours of class time and two hours on the range! Additional $17.00 range fee may apply!
