Sign up in advance is REQUIRED, as you will need to register with the USCCA to do the on line pre-training course - the elearning module is 7 hours long and can be done in sections.

My next Instructor Training Class is Saturday and Sunday, December 7th and 8th, 2019.

Day 1 of the class, we will have all classroom training, starting at 8 am and we will knock off around 6 pm - lunch and snacks will be provided.

On Day 2, we will start the day at the range for qualifications, then return to the classroom for the balance of the material, plus review and final exam.

I will do everything in my power for you to succeed, and upon completion, you will be ready to teach your first class.

Upon successful completion of the class, you will be certified to teach USCCA Concealed Carry classes in 15 states.

On Saturday, February 18th, we will start the day with range for qualifications, then return to the classroom for the balance of the material, plus review and final exam.

Upon successfully completing this course, you will become USCCA Certified Instructor, uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals. This course has become the gold standard across the United States for law abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. As a USCCA certified instructor, you will be trained and equipped to provide world-class instruction to students. You will have access to our world class classroom materials (including a full set of PowerPoint presentations and classroom videos). During this two-day training course, you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics, including: The top ten instructor mistakes, and how to avoid them; teaching best practices; and running a safe live fire range. You’ll also have a chance to demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers, as well as running a live fire range, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire. After completion of this course, you’ll not only be intimately familiar with the USCCA training methodology and materials, you’ll be a far better instructor and presenter, regardless of the topic of choice.

Sixel Martial Arts and Concealed Carry and Family Defense Academy team up to present Elite Women's Self Defense Fundamentals course.

In this 12 hour course (three 4 hour sessions) you will learn the fundamentals of physical self defense from 9th Degree Grand Master Black Belt Dave Sixel as well as armed self defense from USCCA Training Counselor Gregg Kizewski. Both Dave and Gregg started teaching their respective disciplines in 1982, bringing a combined total of 86 years of teaching experience to the table.

This class is designed to make students feel confident to act as their own personal as well as their family's first line of defense in the event of a critical incident or home invasion. Upon completion of this course, students will be certified for a Wisconsin concealed carry permit, as well as possess lifelong physical self defense skills.

This is a comprehensive training program designed for individuals seeking to understand situational awareness, conflict avoidance, home security, and responsible firearm ownership and carrying for self-defense. It covers essential topics including handgun basics, shooting fundamentals, the psychology of violent encounters, legal aspects of using deadly force, and strategies for home protection and gear selection. Key elements covered in the course: Situational Awareness and Conflict Avoidance: Understanding your surroundings and how to de-escalate or avoid dangerous situations. Firearm Basics and Shooting Fundamentals: Proper handling and shooting techniques for handguns. Defensive Shooting Fundamentals: Principles of shooting in a self-defense scenario. The Psychology of Violent Encounters: Understanding the physiological and psychological impact of a violent encounter. Legal Aspects of Using Deadly Force: Knowledge of legal responsibilities and consequences related to using deadly force. Home Defense and Security: Strategies for protecting your home and family. Layered defense plans: The program focuses on building a "layered defense plan" for a house of worship. This involves creating multiple levels of security and preparedness, from the parking lot to the sanctuary, to stop an attacker before they can harm a large number of people. Security teams: The USCCA advocates for forming trained, volunteer security teams within congregations. These teams are taught how to assess threats, respond to an active shooter, and provide aid to the wounded after an attack. Threat recognition: Trainees learn to identify pre-threat indicators and understand the mindset and behavior of mass shooters.
