Change of Behavior COB

We link up early in the morning test fire guns and zero conduct some classes and dry rehearsals learn about the helicopter and then start doing rotations. You take a dynamic lap before coming in and shooting a steel target with a flasher approx 80y away. We do some hover and slides and then land and swap people. We repeat this 3-4 times per person. You need a rifle, no muzzle brake, ammo, red, dot brass catcher, sling and eye pro. We have this all for rent as well.

Open to all. Learn CQB from Special Operations Members. 2-4 man entries, hallway movement, room to room clears. All in a shoot house made for training. Stress your mind and problem solve. Work as a Team

No special equipment is needed outside of a Rifle AR15 and Eye Protection. Everything else is a nice to have. A conversion kit bolt will be provided to ensure no live ammo. 50 rounds of training ammunition (a $65 value) will be provided to you. More at additional cost if desired.

Training is conducted in a semi enclosed barn Bring appropriate attire. I built a customized shoot house that is over 4000sqft specifically for this type or training.

Building off of Level 1, Level 2 is taken from the prone and began to apply to the tripod and a supported position. We review some ballistic theory and add on to it by going more in depth in to the kestrel. More in depth in consider action for wind effects and other external factors. Course is shot shooter/ spotter to maximize time and learning. Range same as L1 with 350* range fan and engagements out to 1200y. L1 is a pre-req with minimal waivers.

This is the CCW requirement for San Diego County. There is no wiggle room here for curriculum it is dictated by the county. We conduct this training in a classroom and then on a private range. There are no other fees. You may shoot and qualify on two pistols for your license. You must have pre-approval from the county and in the process of receiving your CCW license. If you want to attend just for the knowledge that's ok too.

THIS IS NOT A BASIC COURSE. PLEASE CONTACT PRIOR TO REGISTERING TO ENSURE A GOOD FIT. QUALIFIED SNIPERS OR EXPERIENCED SHOOTERS WHO ARE LOOKING FOR SOME MORE TACTICAL TRAINING. LOTS OF SUPPORTED POSITION DRILLS, PARTNER SHOOTER OBSERVER DRILLS, HIGH ANGLE SHOOTING, DISTANCE TO 1200M, SHORT ACTION BOLT GUN OR GAS GUN RECOMMENDED. MAGNUMS ARE OK BUT SOME TARGETS ARE LIMITED. MULTIPLE POSITIONS TO SHOOT FROM.

Building off of Level 2, Level 3 is shot from the tripod and a supported position. Advanced tripod techniques are used and taught. We review some ballistic theory and add on to it by going more in depth in to the kestrel. We begin to discuss Match like drills and single shooter. Truing the rifle, rapid target engagement and max point blank. Miling and unknown distance. Uneven terrain. Range same as L1 with 350* range fan and engagements out to 1200y. L2 is a pre-req with minimal waivers.

Course is for people that have been to previous courses and that are novices or better with firearms. We will conduct some day training prior to dark. Bring your own gear or rent. Dual tube NVGs with Laser. AR15 rifle with picatinny on the rail is needed. Learn about laser theory, zero, offset, and how to employ in a no light/low light environment. Range is on private land with numerous targets. Ammo available upon request

Saturday morning we linkup. Transport is provided to Laguna Mountain. We train all day into the night and then camp out. The next morning we get up and do a hike to the top of a mountain and then head home. General time line schedule is a 0700 depart from San Diego on Saturday and depart from the mountains by 1000 on Sunday.
