This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts. Although the main focus will be Pistol, we will cover all three platforms in classroom and have plenty of time for questions and answers.

If you don't have a handgun, we will have loaners and ammo available for you, just ask ahead of time so we can accommodate you.

"This instructor is able to elaborate on any point and give examples. Really knows the material. More importantly for me, safe gun handling was not only talked about up front but demonstrated over and over even with the plastic dummy gun. I really appreciated that. "
