Learning how to become a responsible firearm owner and knowing how to safely handle and use the firearm (as well as when and when not to use your firearm) is very important in today's environment. Being an individual with no military or law enforcement training and having a strong desire to constantly improve my knowledge and skills allows me the ability to train others who may be new, curious, nervous or just interested in improving their skills and knowledge. Training includes learning about firearms, education on the various aspects of Avoid (awareness), Escape and Defend and concludes with time on the shooting range to practice basic shooting skills such as grip, stance, sight alignment, safety and becoming comfortable and familiar with your firearm. This is very beneficial for individuals, couples or small groups in a fun, collaborative, informative and stress-free environment that will help you leave the class feeling more knowledgeable about firearms, shooting skills and the financial, psychological, legal and moral aspects of safely and responsibly owning and carrying a handgun.
