What You'll Learn
This class covers basic pistol information, fundamentals of marksmanship, and firearms safety. The overall objective of this course is to educate students on the responsibilities applicable to handgun ownership. We cover the universal safety rules, go in-depth on semi-automatic pistols and revolvers, touch on ballistics, and discuss best practices for personal and home defense.
I run a laid-back class, and I'm very open to questions.
There is a live fire practical application, but think of it as a prep course for your Texas LTC or just a good refresher with some practice. This course does not certify you for a Texas License to Carry.
***Handgun rentals are available for this class.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Self-Defense Firearms Basics
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
