Part one of the USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals Curriculum. We discuss developing a Home and Personal protection plan, as well as general security awareness. This interactive presentation is held online with a duration of 2 hours (1.5 hour presentation, 0.5 hour Q&A). Link to join the virtual meeting will be sent a day prior to the meeting start.
Developing a personal protection plan is a key component of not only preparing for how we should (or might) react if confronted by a violent crime, but also how we might avoid violent crime in the first place. Within this lesson, we discuss how developing a protection plan is about much more than becoming proficient with a firearm or writing up a home invasion plan. It’s a plan that must encompass awareness, avoidance, and preparation.
