What You'll Learn
A women-only, judgment-free class that walks you through handgun basics so you can make informed decisions about if, what, and when to buy—without sales pressure or “just trust me” advice. This is a classroom-only, non-shooting seminar designed for absolute beginners and women who are “handgun-curious” but not ready for the range yet.
This 2-hour women’s handgun seminar is for you if you’re curious about owning or carrying a handgun—but don’t want your first real conversation to be at a gun counter with a salesperson steering the conversation. In a relaxed, women-only environment, we’ll cover the fundamentals of modern handguns, how they work, what the jargon means, and what actually matters when you’re deciding if and what to buy.
We’ll look at different handgun types (semi-autos vs revolvers), common calibers, pros and cons of popular options, and how to think about fit, recoil, and capacity for your body and lifestyle. We’ll also go over the core safety rules, safe storage, basic Arizona carry considerations, and what realistic next steps look like if you decide to move forward with training or purchase.
This is a non-shooting class—no live fire and no requirement to own or bring a firearm. You’ll have the chance to handle demonstration pistols and revolvers with strict safety protocols so you can feel the size, weight, and controls in your own hands, without the noise and intensity of a live range. My goal is that you leave feeling more informed, more confident, and harder to harm—whether you choose to buy a handgun or not.
