Topics include the universal safety rules, range etiquette, understanding the action of a handgun, terminology, defensive shooting fundamentals, troubleshooting, and clearing a firearm.

In this class you will learn why OC Pepper Spray is such an effective self defense tool. You will learn the effects of OC spray, how and when to deploy, selecting the right brand of pepper spray, how to stage your spray, pre-attack indicator, the laws, and most importantly you will have an hour to practice defensive scenarios with different inert water sprays so you will be ready and know exactly how and when to use OC pepper spray. YOU WILL NOT BE SPRAYED WITH PEPPER SPRAY.

Assessing and treating cardiac emergencies, including CPR and AED, in addition to field treatment to Stop the Bleed.

RSO Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
The NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO) Certification Course involves learning and applying the roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspections, rules, briefings, emergency procedures, and handling firearm stoppages and malfunctions.

Course Format: This course blends classroom instruction, hands-on training, and practical range exercises. Participants will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they acquire in real-world scenarios under the guidance of experienced NRA-certified instructors.

This class covers all material from the NRA RSO curriculum, but it will also contain additional material from the USCCA CCHD.

Countering the Mass Shooter Threat is a comprehensive course for every house of worship, school, business, and family in America. We will review the data of 48 mass shootings to determine what can be learned from these tragedies and how following a comprehensive plan can help you to not only avoid becoming a victim, but eliminate the presence of these shooters once and for all.

This is a classroom only course. No range time. Additionally, students will receive USCCA’s comprehensive full-color book, “USCCA Countering the Mass Shooter Threat” along with additional information on available resources.

Private lesson covering firearms safety and fundamentals

This class will NOT be held at a range and will consist of dry/practice only. No live ammunition is permitted — please do not bring any ammunition to class. We will use snap caps exclusively.

The session will focus on preparation for the AG&AG National Conference and the AG&AG Defensive Marksmanship Program, but it also applies to all firearm, personal, and range safety and etiquette. Participants must use outside-the-waistband (OWB) holsters only.

During the class, we will discuss key considerations when selecting holster equipment, review the five-step holster draw process, and reinforce adherence to all safety protocols. Repetitive practice will be incorporated to build consistency, confidence, and skill mastery.
