My Biography
My name is Edgar, and I served four years in the United States Marine Corps as a Field Radio Operator with an artillery battalion. During my service, I also held responsibilities as a COMSEC Account Manager, where precision, accountability, and adherence to strict procedural standards were critical to mission success.
Throughout my time in the Marine Corps, I completed the Marine Corps Designated Marksman Course and served as a Marine Corps Weapons Coach, gaining extensive experience in marksmanship instruction, weapons handling, and shooter development. My training emphasized not only accuracy, but discipline, safety, and decision-making under stress.
In addition to weapons instruction, I have a strong background in tactical and emergency medical response. I am trained in Marine Corps Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), Combat Lifesaver (CLS), and Valkyrie trauma medical courses, reinforcing my belief that responsible firearms training must include the ability to respond to medical emergencies.
After my military service, I continued my professional development in the civilian sector. I am a practicing gunsmith, hold Texas Level 3 Security training, and am certified as a Stop the Bleed instructor. I am also a USCCA-certified firearms instructor and a Texas DPS-certified firearms instructor.
My approach to training is grounded in real-world experience, safety-first instruction, and practical application. My goal is to equip students not only with shooting skills, but with the knowledge, mindset, and responsibility required to safely protect themselves and others.
