What You'll Learn
This class covers the state-required curriculum in order to get a Tennessee Enhanced Carry Permit. Material covered will include gun safety, use of force, current carry laws and restrictions, firearm types, gun maintenance, and more.
There are many benefits to getting your Tennessee Enhanced Carry Permit. In this class, you will gain an understanding on the use of force laws in Tennessee, what reciprocity means, where you can and cannot carry, Castle Doctrine, and so much more. You will walk away a more educated and empowered citizen with the knowledge you need for carrying a gun in Tennessee.
This class is not for first time shooters (We recommend our First Shots class and/or private lessons). There is a written exam and a shooting test. You must pass both in order to pass the class.

Firearm (Rentals available)
50 rounds of ammunition (Can be purchased in-store)
Eye Protection & Ear Protection (Can be purchased in-store)
Please leave your firearm in your vehicle, unloaded, until instructed to retrieve it.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Rental firearms are available, if necessary, for the shooting portion of the class. Ammunition is also available for purchase; however, it is recommended that you plan ahead in case of inventory shortages. Eye/Ear Protection is available for purchase.
