TACTICAL HOME DEFENSE SHOTGUN

The shotgun is the most effective and versatile weapon available to the average private citizen. It is also the least understood and most under-utilized. This intensive course will teach you efficient techniques for handling and shooting the shotgun for home defense.

Topics covered include: Firearms safety, including considerations specific to shotguns Selection of the fighting shotgun Effective modifications and accessories Ammunition selection and capabilities Patterning for optimal performance Nomenclature and mechanical operation Shooting technique Loading/reloading techniques Safe storage and ready conditions Care and maintenance Students will need a reliable pump action or semi-automatic shotgun. The shotgun must have a shoulder stock, and a barrel length of 20 inches or shorter. Please, no detachable magazine-fed shotguns.

Students will need 100 rounds of birdshot.

If you do not have a shotgun, don't buy one for the course, we have loaners available. Let us know if you will need one in advance.
