What You'll Learn
This is a 4 hour class for women and 1 hour range times, created by a woman at USCCA! Learn the essential fundamentals to safe gun handling. Start in the classroom then move to the range to practice what you have learned. This is a great class for beginners or for those that need a refresher class. Instructor is NRA & USCCA certified. If you need a firearm, no worries! We will loan you one - you just pay for the ammunition. We will need to know if you need a firearm in advance. If you don't have eye or ear protection, we can provide that for no fee. PRICE does not INCLUDES RANGE FEE.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Women's Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals
With three distinct modules, this course is designed for those who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting.
Basics and fundamentals will be introduced, reviewed, and then built upon, while also exploring:
- Situational awareness
- Common types of handguns
- Ammunition types, malfunctions
- Firearms handling skills
- Defensive pistol fundamentals
- The use of deadly force
Whether you’ve never touched a firearm, you’re looking for the next steps in your training, or you’ve chosen to learn about the skills, tools, and mindset needed to use firearms for self-defense, you can be prepared to carry confidently every day with tips and techniques from experienced women in the world of firearms.
