In this Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals class offered by USCCA and S.C. SLED certified Instructor Jerry Ranson, which meets requirements for a concealed carry permit in the great state of South Carolina, you will learn about or be refreshed on the basics of self-defense, and concealed carry. This includes: ● Understanding and using conflict avoidance to prevent escalation as well as the importance of de-escalation ● Understanding and using situational awareness ● Understanding use of force and proper escalation of force in a self-defense scenario ● Basic shooting fundamentals and concepts ● Physiology of violent encounters - how your body responds to high stress situations ● How to handle the mental and legal aftermath of a self-defense situation This course is scheduled to last 6 hours in-classroom and 1 hour range time and is located at 4955 Tinkers Creek Rd, Edgemoor, SC 29712 and serving the greater Rock Hill, Ft. Mill and the general Upstate S.C. area.

DOJ certified Instructor Jerry Ranson, which meets requirements for a concealed carry permit in the great state of North Carolina, you will learn about or be refreshed on the basics of self-defense, and concealed carry. This includes: ● Understanding and using conflict avoidance to prevent escalation as well as the importance of de-escalation ● Understanding and using situational awareness ● Understanding use of force proportional to the threat you face. ● Basic shooting fundamentals and concepts ● Physiology of violent encounters - how your body responds to high stress situations ● How to handle the mental and legal aftermath of a self-defense situation This course is scheduled to last 7 hours in-classroom and 1 hour range time and is located at 4955 Tinkers Creek Rd, Edgemoor, SC 29712.

This class is for active duty and retired military personnel. Active-duty military members will need to furnish a copy of their current orders. Retired military will need to provide a copy of their DD-214.

Real Estate Safety Class In this class you will learn: • How to identify job-related activities that put agents at risk of an attack • The finer points of tuning into your environment through situational awareness, will help you avoid a potentially violent encounter • Commonly used cellphone safety features and apps that can be used to keep real estate agents safe • The legal use of force and what criteria must be met before you can use reasonable or deadly force, plus the potential consequences that could follow • Armed, unarmed and less-lethal defensive options • Handgun Basics with live fire range time

If you are new to handgun shooting or have just purchased your first firearm, this is the class that you should take before taking a state issued concealed weapons permit class. The class will include instruction on handgun safety, revolver and semi-automatic pistol parts, how handguns operate, the fundamentals of pistol shooting, how to safely unload your pistol, clear common malfunctions, as well as cleaning and maintanence.

This is a USCCA Instructor level class for the Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals curriculum. The class includes an eLearning segment that needs to be competed at least one week in advance of the first day of class and bring a copy of the completion certificate to class. Additionally, students will be required to demonstrate their proficiency in safely handling and shooting their own firearm, as well as being able to teach students those same skills on the range and in the classroom. Certified Instructor candidates must also demonstrate their ability to convey handgun training concepts using PowerPoint presentation materials. The class includes a range qualification and written test.

The overall purpose of NTATD is to empower those who are entrusted with the care and education of our children and to give them the insight, knowledge, and skills to perhaps act instead of react, so that they can save lives. We encourage teachers, school staff, administrators, and youth leaders to look at what's available in their area and take advantage of these educational opportunities. Similarly, professional trainers in any discipline, are encouraged to volunteer and offer their expertise to help make the 7th Annual NTATD an even greater success.

You've accomplished the first step in protecting yourself and your family by obtaining your permit to carry concealed. Now you need to gain the skills necessary when and if you are ever confronted with a violent attack both in and outside of your home. This course is designed to work with what the body does naturally when under stress so that you can take your gun handling skills to the next level.

This class consists of two very popular firearm training classes, where the first part of the class, students will receive instruction on handgun basics and live fire drills that will focus on loading/unloading, unsighted fire, the use of sighting systems, and safety. Then students will transition over to the AR-15 portion to learn the history of the AR-15, it's components, sighting systems, and how it can be used as a very effective home defense firearm.

Now that South Carolina has become the 29th state to pass constitutional carry attend this session to learn what this law provides for, how it affects South Carolina residents who have a CWP and those that don't. Learn what other changes this legislation includes and why you should obtain a CWP.

The Adventurers will become certified in the following American Red Cross courses.

1. Adult/Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED
2. Head, Neck, Muscle, Bone and Joint Injuries and Splinting.

This is the perfect class for new handgun owners and is a must for those that decide to obtain a state issued CWP. You'll learn the four cardinal rules of gun safety, how to safely load/unload your firearms, the proper grip & stance, how and when to use your sights. The class consists of both classroom and live fire range time.

This is a USCCA CCHDF CI Recertification course and is only open to those CCHDF Certified Instructors that have los their certification and wish to begin teaching the curriculum again. If you have not previously attended, passed and certified as a CCHDF Instructor, you are not eligible to attend this class.

Students will learn the operating mechanics of two TASER Non-Lethal devices, The Pulse 2 Taser and the Strike Light 2 Stun Device and then get to practice deployment into an actual target.
