What You'll Learn
The Instructor candidate who successfully completes this Certification course will be authorized to teach the following platforms/devices: *TASER Strikelight 2 *TASER Pulse 2 *ASP Defender OC System *Sabre OC System *Byrna Self-Defense Launcher *Sabre Self-Defense Launcher
A Certified NLP Instructor may then decide to teach one, or all, of these devices as "end-user" classes. Each device has an associated "Instructor Toolkit" which is available for purchase through USCCA. These purchases are INDEPENDENT of the base certification course.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded, at the discretion of the Instructor. Students who cancel a class will be given one opportunity to rebook the class at a later date. Students who cancel a second time (for the same class) will be required to re-register and pay for the class as a new registration (with no refund for the previous registration). It will be at the sole discretion of the Instructor whether to approve additional cancellations & re-registrations.
What We'll Teach
Non-Lethal Program - Certified Instructor
Non-Lethal Weapons Instructor Candidates must complete the eLearning prerequisite with a passing score of 90% in order to ensure they are familiar with the devices and drills featured in this curriculum. On day one, Instructor Candidates will review the end user classroom materials and experience the hands-on drills. They will be shown how to teach, set up, brief and run each of the drills involved in this program of instruction. On day two, candidates will demonstrate their knowledge of the devices featured in this curriculum by conducting classroom and drill teachbacks.
