What You'll Learn
This course builds the foundation for proper shooting fundamentals and safe firearm handing. Topics include the universal safety rules; proper shooting fundamentals such as grip, sight alignment, stance; and more. Home defense topics include creating a home safety plan, considerations for shotguns and rifles, the use of deadly force, and what to do in the aftermath of a deadly force encounter.
Students will receive four hours of classroom instruction & two hours of professional coaching on our indoor range. Students will also receive the Home Defense Fundamentals USCCA textbook.
Students can bring their own firearm or use a rental firearm for no additional charge. Supplies needed are eye and hearing protection and 100 rounds of ammunition.
This is a prerequisite course for the Personal Protection 201: USCCA Concealed Carry course.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
