What You'll Learn
This class will cover operation, proper handling and basic marksmanship skills for use of modern semiautomatic handguns and revolvers. Students will receive classroom lecture instruction, hands-on instruction on firearm operation, as well as live-fire exercises. This class is intended for those new to handguns or those who want instruction on modern marksmanship techniques. Students must be legally able to possess firearms in order to attend the class.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 72 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 72 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Self-Defense Firearms Basics
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Students are responsible for providing their own firearm (modern handguns only), 100 rounds of target ammunition, and eye and ear protection.
