What You'll Learn

This women led, women's only class features one-on-one live-fire instruction and FREE range time from the first date of the class through one week after the last date of the class! This class focuses on both basic handgun skills and defensive skills, including drawing from concealment and multiple target engagement, with all shots taken with a personal instructor's guidance. Offered at introductory pricing (regularly $300) with a small class size. Students may use our handguns or bring their own.

Cancellation Policy: Purchasing a seat in a HTA class is purchasing a non-refundable ticket. If there is a legitimate medical, family, or personal need, we are happy to reschedule you to an upcoming class.

What We'll Teach

Women's Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals

With three distinct modules, this course is designed for those who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting.

Basics and fundamentals will be introduced, reviewed, and then built upon, while also exploring:

  • Situational awareness
  • Common types of handguns
  • Ammunition types, malfunctions
  • Firearms handling skills
  • Defensive pistol fundamentals
  • The use of deadly force

Whether you’ve never touched a firearm, you’re looking for the next steps in your training, or you’ve chosen to learn about the skills, tools, and mindset needed to use firearms for self-defense, you can be prepared to carry confidently every day with tips and techniques from experienced women in the world of firearms.
