In this ladies only introductory handgun class you will learn basic gun safety and shooting fundamentals. This class is perfect for new gun owners or people thinking about getting a gun. You DO NOT need to own a gun for this class. We will provide everything you need.

This course is designed to introduce the student to the Concealed Carry Lifestyle.

Topics will include gear, attire, draw techniques, drills and what to expect if you need to defend yourself from a physiological and mental standpoint.

This is classroom AND LIVE fire. This is NOT a brand new shooter class. You must have had previous training and can load , unload, rack, lock open slide and reasonably hit your target. If you are not sure you are qualified, please ask.

This class will give you an introduction to carrying a concealed firearm, from clothing choices, holster positions, recognizing potential threats, avoiding confrontation and drawing safely from a holster.

Practical Handgun  provides the opportunity for students to practice shooting fundamentals and learn various skills related to defensive shooting under close supervision by a certified instructor in a small group setting. ( student ratio 1:3)

Continue to learn Gun Safety and Shooting Fundamentals in an ALL Female Environment and earn your completion certificate.

This class is a continuation of the Intro Class . You may bring your own firearm.

This course is designed to introduce the student to the Concealed Carry Lifestyle.

Introduction to gun safety and shooting fundamentals in an all female environment.

This class will give you an introduction to carrying a concealed firearm.

We will assist you with clothing choices as well as holster choices and positions. You will learn how to recognize potential threats and avoid confrontation. Plus gain hand on experience drawing safely from a holster, the correct way.

Experience required. Not for first timers. Must already know safe gun handling and fundamentals.

The most fun you could ever have with a gun! You will be working from a holster and moving about the range. Introduction to Competition provides the opportunity for students to learn about the different types of pistol competition including, Steel, IDPA and USPSA. This class will be for women only and taught by women keeping in line with Girlz N Guns Mission to provide a non judgmental, non intimidating, friendly, comfortable environment where women can continue to build confidence. Students will learn the general rules, etiquette and safety of the sport as well as shoot through some mini stages.

WARNING! We can not be held accountable for any addiction to the sport that may occur during or after the class!

Learn to shoot an AR-15 style Rifle

Contrary to popular belief, rifles are actually easier to shoot than handguns in many ways!

In this introductory class you will learn basic gun safety, safe gun handling, range etiquette, rules and shooting fundamentals. You will have the opportunity to shoot 3 different AR style rifles in 3 calibers, .22, 9mm and .223

Get an introduction to handgun safety basics, giving you the confidence to use the tool you’ve chosen to protect yourself and your family with. In this firearms training for women, you’ll explore how to load,safely “clear” (unload) a semi-automatic handgun and build skills that result in safe, accurate, and comfortable shooting. Your instructor will also explain the seven key fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. We provide everything you need including gun, ammo, and targets.

Social Shooting ( followed by food and drinks at : TBD)   6:00 to 7:30 pm ( start time is between 5:45 and 6:00)

$30 for non members

EACH person must purchase their own cardboard backer directly from the range for $2

Learn what to do if your gun goes "click" instead of bang and fine tune your skills!

We encourage you to bring your own gun for this class.

If you don't have a gun, no problem, you can rent or borrow one of ours!

Ammo NOT included.  Available for purchase from the range.

This Ladies only Skills and Drills class will be open format to allow for more range time and one-on-one instruction.

You can bring a pistol and or rifle for this one! This class will be geared towards new shooters who have completed our introductory courses or equivalant but may not be ready to go to the range "solo", or for novice shooters who feel they could benefit from "extra help" to improve or expand upon their shooting skills, or as a refresher for someone who has been out of the game for a long time but has had formal training. Your instructor will evaluate and then work with you on what you need most. If you have a holster you may bring it.

Drills may include:

marksmanship/accuracy
one hand shooting
drawing from a holster
malfuntions
building confidence
peer coaching

*this is NOT a first time shooter class. You must have previous training.

Class will be limited in size to allow for more individual attention, skill set evaluation and live fire practice with an instructor by your side.

It is crucial to have the right gear to prevent accidents and set you up for success. In this informational seminar we will discuss everything holsters, including the many challenges women face when carrying a concealed firearm.

This is a hands on learning opportunity where students will have a chance to share experiences as well as look at all kinds of holster in various styles.

Please bring any holsters/conceal carry purses with you IF you have any. The good, the bad, the ugly, even the ones you have stashed away in the bottom of a drawer. We will discuss the pros and cons of each style and what makes a good holster.

No LIVE FIRE! This is classroom only.

Dynamic Shooting provides the opportunity for students to learn about the different types of pistol competition including, Steel, IDPA and USPSA. This class will be for women only and taught by women keeping in line with Girlz N Guns Mission to provide a non judgmental, non intimidating, friendly, comfortable environment where women can continue to build confidence. If you have taken this class before, we will squad you ( put you in groups) according to your abilities.

Pre req for this class: This is not a "brand new" shooter class. You will need to already have solid, SAFE gun handling skills. ( be able to load, unload, rack, lock slide open and be able to put hits on a target) If you have questions about your skill level.. just ask me! You are probably ready! Just do it! This is a very friendly class! Even if you have no interest in competition, this is just plain ole fun for everyone!

Cost: $120 +$20 range fee

. Range fee $20 cash day of class.

What you will need:

Center fire hand gun ( a .380, or compact gun will be OK for this class although smaller guns are more difficult to shoot and learn on. We prefer full size guns for newer shooters. Most competitors use full sized guns, however, there are SOME competitions specifically for what we call "back up guns" or small guns) You CAN use a .22 for this class but You will not draw from a holster.

Minimum of 2 magazines and magazine holders ( or you can use pockets)

A strong side holster ( Kydex, and covers the trigger completely and made for your specific firearm) OWB ( outside the waistband) No inside the waitband holsters. If you need to borrow one, please ask and we will see if we can accomodate you! If you don't have a holster, you can still participate from what we call "low ready".

NO SERPA HOLSTERS ( requires you to press a button to release tension)

Sturdy belt ( you don't NEED a special belt just make sure it is the same width as the holster so that the holster is not able to slide or wiggle around)

Eyes and ears ( Preferably electronic)

Brimmed hat

Ammo ( round count approx 150)

Skill Level: Must be able to load, unload and lock slide open. Must be comfortable with your gun. In other words, NOT a newbie class. You just have to be safe and have had some prior training.

This co ed class for Delaware residents will give you the required training needed to obtain your Delaware Concealed Carry of a Deadly Weapon License, Delaware Permit to Purchase, and Florida Concealed Weapon License.

This is a 2 day class.

Event Highlights Dynamic Drills: Seated and kneeling shooting, one-handed tasks (like holding gear/groceries), moving targets, Timed drills and memory challenges. Format: Friendly competition or casual practice. Drop in between 4:00 and 6:45pm. Shoot up to 5 drills. Vibe: Fun, safe, and engaging.
