What You'll Learn
Developing a personal and home-protection plan is a key component of preparing not only for how you might react if you're confronted by a violent crime but also how you might avoid it in the first place. This lesson explains that developing a protection plan is about much more than becoming proficient with a firearm or writing up what you would do in the event of a home invader. It’s a process that encompasses awareness, avoidance and preparation, leaving you less likely to be forced to employ force in self-defense in the first place.
You will come away from this class with a real-world plan to protect you, your family, and your home and assets. Protection in and out of the home will be discussed.
Bring questions specific to your lifestyle or home, there will be time after the one-hour presentation for individual situation discussion and planning.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Developing a Personal Plan & Home Protection Plan
Developing a personal & home protection plan is a key component of not only preparing for how we should (or might) react if confronted by a violent crime, but also how we might avoid violent crime in the first place. Within this lesson, Michael Martin explains that developing a protection plan is about much more than becoming proficient with a firearm or writing up a home invasion plan. It’s a plan that must encompass awareness, avoidance, and preparation, so that we’re less likely to find ourselves in a situation where we have no other option than to use our firearm, rather than more likely.
