What You'll Learn
The Maryland Wear and Carry Course is a 2 day training program in conjunction with our Defensive Carry Fundamentals course. Day1&2: Classroom Day1 In the classroom training we will cover the following: Why you want to carry a firearm. Defining a personal Protection Plan. Indications of Conflict. Situational Awareness and Action Legal Use of Force. Violent encounters and the aftermath. MD Law vs PA law. Day2: Universal Safety Rules. Understanding the different handgun types & operations. Ammunition calibers and components. Defensive shooting vs Marksmanship. Cover & concealment. Skill development cycle. Understanding the body's natural reactions. Volume of fire. Malfunctions/clearing/reloading exercise. Range Time: Cover and review Range Safety and Protocols. Live Fire: 50 rounds of B-27 Target for Qual. This class is conducted at Chambersburg Road & Gun Club.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
