What You'll Learn
The Maryland Wear and Carry Course is a 1 day training program in conjunction with our Defensive Carry Fundamentals course. Day1: Classroom Day1 In the classroom training we will cover the following: Why you want to carry a firearm. Defining a personal Protection Plan. Indications of Conflict. Situational Awareness and Action Legal Use of Force. Violent encounters and the aftermath. MD Law vs PA law.(Day1 can be used for HQL recert for $115)
Universal Safety Rules. Understanding the different handgun types & operations. Ammunition calibers and components. Defensive shooting vs Marksmanship. Cover & concealment. Skill development cycle. Understanding the body's natural reactions. Volume of fire. Malfunctions/clearing/reloading exercise. Range Time: Cover and review Range Safety and Protocols. Live Fire: 25 rounds of B-27 Target for Qual.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
