DPSST PRIVATE SECURITY ARMED REFRESHER COURSE

This Course is the official curriculum required to Refresh your Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards & Training (DPSST) Private Security Armed Professional License. This 4 hour refresher course includes a Written Exam, Safe Handgun Handling Test and Marksmanship Qualification Course.

Upon completion of the course, each student will be provided all required paperwork to be submitted to Oregon DPSST’s Private Security Division. Each student must submit their application packet within 180 days of the completion of the course. Students may also submit their application (and register for this course) up to 180 days prior to the expiration date of their License.

Please call/text/email minimum 48 hours before the start of the course to cancel or reschedule. Students are only eligible for a refund meeting this requirement, There is no rescheduling fees.
3. Students are required to bring a minimum of 200 rounds. This includes rounds for the Qualification Course.
4. The course is limited to a maximum of 6 participants so that each student can receive the individualized attention they deserve.
5. If a Licensed Security Entity (Security Company) has registered a minimum of 4 students to attend the Course, a $50 rebate will be refunded to the Entity for each attending Student (minimum $200 discount), but not before full purchase. Please call or email for additional information.
