What You'll Learn
This course, as set forth by the Oklahoma Self-Defense Act, fulfills the requirements of training in order for one to apply for an Oklahoma concealed carry permit. This course consist of a classroom portion a break for lunch and then verification fire at an outdoor range. This course also discusses individual and family home defense plans, what to consider when using deadly force, and the aftermath of the use of deadly force.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded

If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
What to bring: An unloaded handgun in a case, or range bag for the indoor classroom portion. No naked guns. If you choose to keep your firearm in your vehicle I recommend that you keep it out of sight and in a metal lock box and not in the center console or glove box. ** If you do not own a firearm, prior arrangements can be made with the instructor for use of a loaner 9mm pistol for the range verification portion (student still must purchase their ammunition)** **Holsters can be utilized for the range portion** 50 rounds of ammunition (NO RELOADS) Eye and ear protection (If you do not have your own, please notify the instructor ahead of time) A black pen
