This course will provide the student with quality instruction that, in part, meets the requirement for applying for the Ohio CHL permit. The course is 6 hours of classroom and 2 hours of range. Lake Erie Arms also provides a plethora of other classes from basic to advanced.
This course is for beginners and covers safety, basic operation, and shooting techniques of a handgun. After the classroom training, students will be taken to the range for live fire training. This is a beginner friendly course using a .22lr handgun.

The New DPP (Defensive Pistol Program is now available at Lake Erie arms. There is limited seats available. This course of 5 modules of 5 hours each which equals 25 hours of training over 5 Sunday mornings. Come with limited skills and leave confident and competent!
