What You'll Learn
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in our Church Safety Class. The threat of a mass shooter is no longer an “if” situation. Unfortunately, it’s now a “when” situation.
This Church Safety class is designed to support churches in creating a safe, welcoming, and prepared environment for worship and ministry. Whether or not you already have a Church Safety/Security team in place, you will find this class to be valuable.
This class is beneficial for those who serve in leadership, hospitality, safety and security roles within the church, including:
• Church Safety or Security Team Members • Church Board Members • Greeters and Ushers • Pastors • Elders • Deacons and Deaconesses • Sabbath School Teachers • Ministry Department Leaders
For your convenience, all training is conducted onsite at your place of worship.
The listed price represents a starting rate and includes travel within the Columbus, Ohio metro area to your place of worship. Traveling distances beyond the Columbus, Ohio metro area to your place of worship will incur an additional mileage fee of $0.70/mi.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Church Safety: Protecting Your Congregation
This mini-class focuses specifically on lessons which can help to better protect your House of Worship through being able to identify a mass shooter, creating an emergency operations plan and learning how to treat traumatic injuries that may occur. The lesson covers specific considerations related to Houses of Worship, teaches you how to evaluate your current level of security at your House of Worship, and offers practical exercises which can be done with students to practice the lessons being taught.
