Safety is the main goal in this class. How to choose the right firearm for yourself. Grip and stance, proper storage at home. Safety in all aspects of gun ownership. This is not a concealed carry class.
Handgun safety, grip stance home storage. The who, what, why, and how of home self-defense.
I just bought a gun.......now what? This class is designed to start you on your journey to owning a gun. Safety will always be the number 1 priority of this class. Starting with choosing the right firearm for you, handling, and clearing your weapon, loading and unloading, stance, and some time at the range doing live fire.
Safety will be the first priority of this class. How to handle your firearm while being aware of safe handling. How to establish a home defense plan, what you can and cannot do and when you can and cannot. This class is geared for the beginner as well as experienced gun owner. Home defense and gun safety
Basic handgun and safety. This class is geared for the beginner. Safety will be stressed in every aspect of the course, from handling a firearm to home defense. This course includes live fire.
Basic firearm training, and home defense techniques. How to handle a firearm from grip to pulling the trigger. What to do before, during and after a home invasion. Safety is always #1 throughout the class. There will be no live fire in this class.
Basic self-defense target practice
Introduction to handguns for children 13 to 17 years of age. This class will cover safety, handling, and use of various handguns. This class does not include live fire at the range. Please contact Shield of Knowledge if live fire is desired.
