What You'll Learn
The North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun (CCH) course is a comprehensive training program designed for individuals who want to legally carry a concealed firearm in North Carolina.
This course provides in-depth instruction on current North Carolina firearms laws, safe handling and storage practices, and effective techniques or concealed carry. Students will gain the knowledge and confidence needed to carry responsibly and safely.
This course is co-taught alongside a certified North Carolina Department of Justice (NC DOJ) instructor, ensuring students receive accurate, state-compliant instruction that meets all legal training requirements.
To successfully complete this course, students must attend the full training, pass a written exam, and complete a live-fire shooting qualification. Upon completion, students will receive a certificate that meets the requirements to apply for a North Carolina Concealed Carry Handgun permit.
This permit allows individuals to carry a concealed weapon within North Carolina and in other states. that recognize North Carolina's reciprocity agreements.
The course includes a minimum of eight (8) hours of instruction, along with the required range time and shooting qualification.
For this course, please bring an additional $12 for the range fee.
Cancellation Policy: All payments are final and non-refundable. Students who provide at least 72 hours' notice prior to the scheduled class may transfer their registration one (1) time only to another available class within 90 days of the original course date. Failure to attend a scheduled lass without prior notice ("no show") will result in forfeiture of all fees paid, and no transfer or credit will be issued.
