Led by a professional educator with over 25 years of teaching experience, this beginner-friendly course follows the premier USCCA curriculum to give you a safe, welcoming, and highly supportive introduction to firearms. Open to both men and women.
If you have never touched a gun before, or if you recently purchased a handgun and want to feel safe operating it, this is your perfect starting point. We break down the absolute basics in the classroom first, before heading to the range for a quiet, structured, and patient live-fire session.
What We Cover Together:
-Universal firearm safety rules made simple, clear, and easy to practice. -A hands-on, step-by-step breakdown of pistol parts, operation, and clearing malfunctions. -The fundamentals of shooting: grip, stance, aiming, and trigger control.
Guided Live-Fire Range Practice: Transition smoothly to the range with your instructor right by your side for patient, one-on-one shooting guidance.
Cancellation Policy: Classes can be rescheduled for the next available class time, but we do require a 48-hour notification of any changes, prior to class. There is a NO REFUND policy. Refunds are only given if class is cancelled by Precision Aim Tactical & Defense.
What We'll Teach
Self-Defense Firearms Basics
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.

Note: Includes official USCCA completion certificate. Please bring your handgun (or contact us for a rental package before class), 50 rounds of ammunition, and eye/ear protection.
