CPR / AED CERTIFICATION COURSE

CPR: A Lifesaving Skill

Hosted by Patriot Training and Consulting, Front Country Adventures provides CPR/ AED training using the American Red Cross CPR training program. This class will give you the information and the skills you need to recognize and provide assistance in a safe, efficient and timely manner, when someone is faced with a variety of cardiac or breathing emergencies. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. The class is taught in an instructor-led skills format to deliver the most up-to-date information that's engaging and effective, preparing you for the moments that matter. Upon successful completion a valid 2-year certificate for Adult CPR/AED is issued.

In addition to offering CPR certification, the Front Country Adventures also provides recertification for current certificate holders, and continuing education credits for nurses, first responders, social workers, teachers and more.

· Course Introduction

· Assessing the Situation and Scene Safety

· Preparing for an Emergency

· Adult CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation)

· Adult AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

· Choking – Adult and Child

· Choking – Infants

Course Completion Requirements:

· Attend and participate in the entire class.

· Participate in all activities.

· Demonstrate competency in all required skills.

· Successfully complete all assessment scenarios.
