What You'll Learn

You Have Your Concealed Carry Permit. But Are You Still Confident You Know the Law?

Getting your North Carolina Concealed Handgun Permit is an important step, but understanding the laws surrounding concealed carry is an ongoing responsibility.

If it's been a few years since you took your original Concealed Carry class, how much of that information do you still remember? Are you confident you understand where you can legally carry, when you can legally use deadly force, and what your responsibilities are as a permit holder?

Our NC Concealed Carry Law Refresher is designed specifically for individuals who already have their North Carolina Concealed Handgun Permit and want to refresh their knowledge of the laws that affect them.

What We'll Cover

Where You Can and Cannot Carry: Review North Carolina's laws concerning prohibited locations and restrictions on concealed carry.

Use of Force and Deadly Force: Revisit the legal principles governing self-defense and the circumstances under which deadly force may be justified.

Your Responsibilities as a Permit Holder: Review important legal obligations, including interactions with law enforcement.

North Carolina Concealed Carry Laws: Review important legal provisions and discuss relevant legislative changes.

Real-World Situations: Discuss practical scenarios to better understand how the law applies to everyday situations.

Questions and Answers: Get clarification on laws or situations you may have questions about.

Who Is This Class For?

This class is intended for current North Carolina Concealed Handgun Permit holders who want to stay informed, refresh their understanding of the law, and be more confident about their legal responsibilities.

Whether you received your permit last year or ten years ago, reviewing the law is a worthwhile investment in responsible concealed carry.

Your Permit Is Proof You Completed the Training. Make Sure Your Knowledge Stays Current.

Register for our NC Concealed Carry Law Refresher Class today!

Please note: This is a law refresher course, not the state-required initial Concealed Handgun Permit course. Completing this class does not issue, renew, or replace a concealed handgun permit. Course discussions are educational and do not constitute individualized legal advice.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded, but student can be moved to another class.

What We'll Teach

Legal Use of Force

In this lesson, Michael Martin will cover important legal topics, including the laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home. Within this lesson, you’ll get a chance to test what you’ve learned, using several real world scenarios with you as the actor.
