What You'll Learn
The concealed carry course meets the requirements to be eligible to receive a North Carolina concealed handgun permit. It is an all-day course with 8 hours of classroom training to include the following topics: • Legal Issues • Escalation of Force • Reciprocity • Handgun Safety • Different types of Handguns • Ammunition Knowledge • Types of Ammunition Malfunctions • How to Correct a Handgun Malfunction • Marksmanship Fundamentals • Shooting Stances • Carrying Concealed Safety Issues • Presentation Techniques • Handgun Maintenance • Handgun Storage • Transportation Laws • Factors in Selecting a Handgun • Shooting Drills • Situational Awareness • Response after a deadly force shooting • Range Safety
Cancellation Policy: CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY Course and registration fees are non-refundable. In the event that a student is unable to attend a course and provides at least 72 hours' notice, the fee may be transferred to another student or applied to a future course, where possible. Transfers must be declared within six months of the missed session. One transfer is allowed per student per calendar year. "No shows" and cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled course will forfeit all transfer opportunities.
