Pistol Anatomy Course – Find the Right Fit for You
Are you new to shooting and unsure which pistol is right for you? Our Pistol Anatomy Course is specifically designed to help new shooters explore different types of pistols in a safe, informative, and hands-on environment—no sales pitch, just education and experience.
In this comprehensive course, students will:
Learn the advantages and characteristics of various pistol designs and calibers
Gain insight into how to choose a firearm that fits their unique needs and preferences
Handle and live-fire a variety of pistols and calibers to see what works best for them
Receive professional instruction focused on firearm safety and handling
Understand how to treat firearms with the respect and caution they require
This all-inclusive course provides everything you need:

Students are encouraged to bring any questions and share what they’re looking for in a pistol. Whether you're thinking about personal defense, recreational shooting, or just getting started—this class will give you the clarity and confidence to make an informed decision.

Cancellation Policy: Please watch your email for a Welcome Letter with all the details about the course. If you have not received the email with 24 hours of registering please call: 336.416.6070. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policies We understand emergencies happen. However, FDI operates with limited seating to maximize student experience, so please carefully review our policies: Cancellations: • One week or more before class: A 50% non-refundable cancellation fee applies. Remaining tuition will be refunded by check via USPS within two weeks of email notification. • Within one week of class: No refunds will be issued. Rescheduling: • First-time reschedule (one week or more before class): No fee. • Subsequent reschedules: A non-refundable $40 fee per reschedule, payable on the FDI website. • Within one week of class: A $40 non-refundable rescheduling fee applies and must be paid before your original class date. No Shows: A no-show is defined as anyone not seated at the class start time. No-shows forfeit the entire tuition fee. For cancellations or reschedules, email us at FDIofNC@gmail.com. Requests via phone, text, or mail will not be accepted.
