NC Concealed Carry Handgun Certification is required to carry a concealed handgun in the State of North Carolina.

The course will cover two (2) hours explaining the NC concealed carry law. Training objectives consists of the following: Demonstrating proficiency in safe handling a handgun. Identifying places that handguns are not allowed, even if the individual has a concealed carry handgun permit. Identify the major parts of the revolver and semi-automatic pistol. Demonstrate proficiency in marksmanship fundamentals. Lastly, explain provisions under NC Common and Statutory Law, determining when deadly force is justifiable.

The course requires students to pass a written and shooting proficiency examination. The shooting course will consist of 30 rounds with 10 rounds fired from the three-yard, 10 rounds five-yard, and 10 rounds fired from the 7-yard line

Age requirement: 18 years or older

Bring 50 rounds of ammunition to class. Make sure you have proper eye and hearing protection for the range.

Firearms along with eye and hearing protection can be rented for range time from ENC Protective Services, LLC.

LIVE AMMUNITION OR FIREARMS ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE CLASSROOM WITHOUT INSTRUCTOR PERMISSION.

NC Concealed Carry Handgun Training If you have your own firearm the cost is $105. Renting a firearm from ENC Protective Services, LLC cost $140, which includes ammunition.

There is a $5.00 range fee, which is collected upon arrival of class.

A full refund is given if ENC Protective Services cancels the class.

There are NO refunds, but if students need to cancel for any reason, they may reschedule another class or receive credit toward a class of equal value.

The fundamentals of pistol shooting is designed to provide students the tools to use their pistols with efficiency, confidence, and safely. The class with help with developing the skills on all levels of shooting, but promotes safety while utilizing a pistol above all.

USCCA Basic handgun training is for individuals who are new and familiar with pistols and shooting. USCCA Basic handgun provides individuals with training pertaining to self-defense firearms basics, defensive shooting fundamentals, gear and gadgets, and basic along with some advanced skills associated with handguns. As an affiliate instructor, ENC Protective Services will have the capability to provide students of this class with innovative ways to become better marksmen, simply by utilizing the instruction outlined in the manual.

The class provides students with an array of challenges, such as the following

• Fundamentals of marksmanship (grip, aiming, trigger control, etc.)

• Guided and structured range sessions

• Creative and skill building marksmanship exercises for students

• Sessions encompassed with tools to escalate the marksmanship skills of students of all levels

Pistol Practice is a must for all levels of shooters who want to perfect their shooting on all levels.

Students will be provided a copy of the book, Pistol Practice (valued at 40.00) as part of the class.

The class is 2 hours with 30 minutes class time and 1.5 hours of range time (live fire).

Perfect for students who want to get structured instruction or challenge themselves to be better shooters at the firing range, by lending ENC Protective Services 2 hours of your time to leave with a year worth of practical pistol practice.

Welcome to ENC Protective Services training. Students will need an approve pistol or revolver along with the proper ammunition. There will be NO LOADED FIREARMS PERMITTED IN THE CLASS WITHOUT THE INSTRUCTOR’S PERMISSION. The course is designed to teach individualized students skills based on their individual skillset, whether a beginner, intermediate, or expert. The tactical training will include instruction in actions, such as drawing from the holster, concealment, etc.

The drills will vary depending on the weather. The use of ENC Indoor Range or a local outdoor range will be utilized to conduct specific drills. Dress comfortable and appropriate with closed toe shoes.

This event is designed to equip students with practical skills in situational awareness, defensive shooting, and precision marksmanship.

Before participating in the live-fire portion, students will work through realistic, everyday scenarios designed to build decision-making skills under pressure. The instructor will provide feedback throughout the course to help students improve their awareness, judgment, and firearm-handling skills.

The live-fire portion includes multiple stations that challenge students to follow instructions while engaging single and multiple targets in a controlled environment.

By the end of the course, students will have a stronger understanding of safe firearm handling and greater confidence in making time-sensitive decisions.

This course is designed to provide students with insight into situational awareness, basic handgun types, ammunition types, firearm handling skills, defensive pistol fundamentals as well as the use of deadly force. The course instructs students to clear common malfunctions along with defensive pistol shooting techniques.

The course provides instruction to students of various levels ranging from beginners who have not engaged in firing a pistol, up to and beyond intermediate and advance firearms training. Students will learn to engage the target and become more self-assured and capable to carry open and/or concealed daily. The skills offered in the course were developed by qualified women in the realm of firearms.

The course is 5 hours and includes the following sections:

 Women’s Basic Pistol  Women’s Intermediate Pistol  Women’s Defensive Pistol

Women’s Basic Pistol is a 2-hour mini course designed to teach students basic understanding of firearms, such as checking and clearing firearms. The course explains the basic firearm rules, eye dominance, basic stances, eye dominance, sight alignment, along with loading and unloading the firearm, etc. The course ensures the students obtains basic knowledge concerning safe-handling of firearms.

Women’s Intermediate Pistol is a 2-hour mini course designed to teach intermediate level students about revolvers and semi-automatic firearms as well as the pros/cons of both handguns. The course provides an understanding of different ammunition types, different cycle of operations between revolvers and semiautomatic pistols.

The understanding of basic handgun malfunctions, drawing techniques, understanding situational awareness, and various shooting positions (one handed and two handed).

This course consist of a shooting controlled pairs, multiple target acquisition, and a live fire course to clear malfunctions with snap caps to ensure students can clear malfunctions while engaging a target with confidence.

Women’s Defensive Pistol is a 2-hour mini course prompts students to understand situational awareness. The course prompts understanding the use of deadly force, rules dictating the use of deadly force, cover and concealment to prevent injury.

The student will be versed in utilizing commands to communicate attackers during level red incidents. The course teaches students the difference between marksmanship and defensive shooting along with effective drawing from the holster methods.

The course will follow up with arrange time compiling the skills learned in this course, including drawing from the holster, the purse, and concealment.

The objectives of this training are to develop participants’ knowledge and skills in safe handgun handling and firearm safety. Participants will learn and apply the universal rules of firearm safety and demonstrate safe firearm manipulation. They will become familiar with the basic parts and operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, as well as the differences between the two types of handguns.

Participants will also learn the basic components and types of ammunition and understand the importance of proper ammunition selection. The training will introduce the fundamentals of handgun shooting, including proper grip, stance, sight alignment, trigger control, and shooting positions.

Participants will also learn how to safely inspect, clean, maintain, and store a handgun. Finally, participants will demonstrate their knowledge and skills through a hands-on range evaluation and live-fire qualification conducted under the supervision of a certified firearms instructor.

An invoice will be sent to you via email for payment. There is a $25.00 registration fee, which is required to reserve your seat. The full balance is due upon receiving the invoice or first day of class after registration fee is paid.

Classes can be rescheduled to the next available class but requires a 48-hour notification prior to class.

Marksmanship Simplified addresses beginner and skilled shooters. The course focuses on mental, visual, and body movements associated with factors associated shots placed on the target.

The course provides instruction to the students with recoil, muzzle-management, trigger control, follow-through, etc., which are important to becoming a better shooter. Students participating in this course will discover many techniques to improve their shooting accuracy.

Gun ownership is a major responsibility, and it is important to ensure the citizens understand the use along with proper maintenance. Regular firearm maintenance prolongs the life of the firearm, its functionality, and reduces the chances of malfunctions during deadly force incidents.

This course will provide the student with the proper methods to clean and maintain their respective firearms. The course provides assistance for shooters on all levels.

Countering the Mass Shooter utilizes 48 notable mass shootings to provide the audience with specific tools to survive a mass shooting.

The course provides assistance with the development of emergency operations plan (EOP), which implements the tactic of “Run, Hide, Fight”. The course implements techniques that counter a mass shooting/attack to ensure survival.

The objective is to introduce the basic principles of firearm safety to students, including the importance of pistol safety, loading and unloading rifles, pistols and shotguns with various action types. Basic home firearm safety is designed to educate adults and children in the proper uses of various pistols and rifles. The duration of this course is four (4) hours. STUDENTS DO NOT HAVE TO OWN OR RENT A PISTOL TO ATTEND THIS CLASS

Developing a comprehensive personal and home protection plan is essential for ensuring legal, financial, personal, and, above all, moral security. Gun ownership carries significant responsibility, whether intended for personal safety or home defense.

This course covers key objectives, including conflict avoidance, appropriate responses during violent incidents, situational awareness, identifying areas to avoid and exit strategies, as well as creating an effective home security plan.

Safeguard yourself and your family by establishing a home defense strategy that considers fiscal, legal, personal, and ethical priorities.

The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) provides students with understanding life-threatening emergencies, high-quality chest compressions, delivering appropriate ventilation, and utilizing the AED (Automated Electronic Defibrillator) which utilizes CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation).

The concepts/skills provided to students include: • High-quality CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) for adults, children, and infants • AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components • Use of an AED (Automated Electronic Defibrillator) • Effective ventilations/breathes using a barrier device • Importance of team CPR in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants

Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes to class.

The cost for class is $80, and all required materials are included. Your BLS card will be issued on the same day of class. Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED will be issued within 2 weeks for teachers, daycare employees, etc.

Payment will be accepted at the conclusion of class. The acceptable forms of payment are as follows: cash, debit, credit or checks. If you prefer to pay in advance prior to arrival of class an invoice can be sent to you via email.

The objectives of this training are to safely demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to assume the kneeling, sitting, and prone shooting positions.

Participants will demonstrate the ability to safely shoot a rifle from each position while applying the fundamentals of rifle shooting and maintaining proper safety practices at a designated shooting range. By the end of the training, participants should be able to properly assume each shooting position and demonstrate safe and effective rifle-handling skills while engaging designated range targets.
