I grew up in a gun store and farm in VA. So it seems very natural that I would end up working in the firearms industry both in sales and training. I currently work at Hyatt Guns in Charlotte NC in the sales department, and am the Director of Firearms Training at Hyatt Farms Shooting Complex in Polkton NC. At Hyatt Guns I specialize in first time gun buyers to help them choose the best firearm for their needs and experience level. At Hyatt Farms I specialize in training the first time gun owner to safely and accurately handle their firearm. The only thing more important than having the perfect firearm for you, is having the confidence to use it in a safe and accurate manner. I started my firearms instructor journey at Point Blank Range in Mooresville, NC in 2019. I have been with Hyatts since 2021. I teach beginner handgun, NC Concealed Carry permit classes, Defensive handgun classes levels one and two,Defensive concealed carry, beginner and advanced Home defense tactical shotgun, Introduction to the AR-15, AR-15 Defensive concepts, and AR-15 Skills and drills along with my husband Blaine. I am NRA certified Basic Pistol, RSO, and Basic Home Firearms safety, along with USCCA CCHDF, Womens HSDF, Countering the Mass Shooter, Emergency First Aid Fundamentals, AR-15 instructor, and Non-lethal tools for self defense. I specialize in private individual training that can be tailored to meet specific needs, for women, families, and groups.
