What You'll Learn
Your ability to protect your family doesn’t end with a firearm. True preparedness means being ready to save a life long before law enforcement or EMS can arrive. Stop the Bleed builds on the responsibility you’ve embraced and giving you the medical skills every protector should have.
This course teaches you how to recognize life‑threatening bleeding and take immediate, effective action using simple, proven techniques. You’ll learn to stay calm, think clearly, and intervene with confidence when seconds matter.
Training includes hands‑on instruction in:
Identifying Life‑Threatening Bleeding — What to look for, how to assess, and when to act.
Tourniquet Application — Proper placement, tightening, and securing under stress.
Wound Packing & Pressure Techniques — Stopping bleeding when a tourniquet isn’t an option.
Chest Seals & Trauma Basics — Understanding the essentials of treating penetrating injuries.
At Shepherds Defense Group, medical readiness is part of the same calling:
Equip the protector. Strengthen the family. Honor the calling.
We train with the conviction of Nehemiah 4:14:
“…fight for your families…”
Sometimes that fight looks like stopping a threat. Other times, it looks like stopping the bleeding. Both require courage, preparation, and a protector’s heart.
Whether you carry daily or simply want to be ready for the unexpected, this class gives you the skills to save a life.
