What You'll Learn
This is the 2 Day NM Conceal Carry Course with Vigilant Firearms Training in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. Day 1 is at our classroom at 2309 Renard in Albuquerque, and Day 2 will be at Del Norte Gun Club in Rio Rancho. Call 505-312-0065 if you have questions.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. All refund requests will result in a 50% refund of paid monies. We will allow rescheduling with no cost involved.

Over 1 million students have taken the U.S. Concealed Carry Association’s course offerings across the nation. Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
This is a 15 hour course using USCCA course materials. Class starts at 8:00 and goes to 5:00. Students should expect to shoot approximately 100 rounds of ammunition. Students will learn all New Mexico Department of Public Safety required subject matter to include firearms safety rules, safe storage of handguns and child safety, safe handgun shooting fundamentals, ammunition storage, threat recognition, judgmental shooting, all pertinent Federal, state and local criminal and civil laws pertaining to purchase, ownership, transportation, and use and possession of handguns. Also taught are techniques for avoiding a criminal attack and how to control a violent confrontation, techniques for nonviolent dispute resolution and knowing when to use deadly physical force. Additional state fees of $159 is required to apply for the CCW license. Read NM CCW related posts on my blog at www.vigilantfirearms.com Holsters are required, but only for walking around the range. We have limited holsters free to use, just contact us prior to the class.
