What You'll Learn
This four-hour course meets all New Mexico DPS requirements for renewing your concealed handgun carry license. It combines classroom instruction with live-fire range qualification and is designed to refresh and sharpen the knowledge and skills you developed in your initial course.
Topics include a review of New Mexico and federal firearms laws, legal use of force, situational awareness, safe handling and operation, and live-fire range qualification for your licensed caliber and category.
Upon successful completion you'll receive a certificate of completion from a NM DPS-approved instructor, which you submit with your renewal application. Your renewed license is valid for four years.
Course details: Four hours, classroom and range. Live fire required. Bring your handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition. Certificate of completion issued upon passing.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
