What You'll Learn
The NJ CCW Qual course is a period of instruction that meets NJ standards. Instruction required by NJSP (Firearms Safety and Use of Force) is the classroom curriculum as well as a USCCA mini class on shooting drills to improve skills.
The qualification will consist of the Civilian Carry Assessment and Range Evaluation (CCARE) standards published by the NJSP.
Range portion will be outdoors rain or shine so please dress accordingly.
Students will need enough ammunition to shoot the NJ qualification course. There will be a maximum of two qualification strings in order to obtain the passing score.
Students are expected to use holsters that will remain open for re-holstering and are suitable for concealed carry.
Successful completion of the course will result in a NJ SP182 Permit to Carry and Proficiency Certification.
Students who fail to obtain a passing score will be able to participate in future qualification sessions free of charge (range fees might apply).
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
