What You'll Learn
This class is designed to cover the New Jersey required Use of Force training and CCARE live fire course so you may apply for your PTC through the state of New Jersey.
Included We'll also go over what is needed for you to apply on the State Website as well and go over any questions you may have.
After demonstrating safe handling, proper loading/unloading techniques, proper concealed carry draw and demonstrating techniques of good marksmanship, The candidate will conduct the following against an FBI Style Q Target achieving a passing score of 80% which is 40/50 rounds inside the target :
On command from the instructor, from a secured and concealed holster position, draw and fire 5 rounds. Holster a safe, decocked, if applicable, firearm.
Repeat the string of fire twice, firing a total of 10 rounds.
Reload if required and holster a safe, decocked, if applicable, firearm.
The above will be completed at 3 yards, 5 yards, 7 yards, 10 yards, and 15 yards
At the end of the course of fire, clear all weapons, and holster a safe and empty firearm.

USCCA Instructor Preston Mayer, is a Retired U.S. Army Veteran and has spent the last 20 years in Cybersecurity, currently leading the U.S. Cyber Defense and Global Threat and Vulnerability Management for the 3rd largest law firm in the world. Preston participates in multiple shooting competitions at various levels.
