What You'll Learn
Get ready to learn the essentials of pistol shooting with CATS Firearms Academy. Our Pistol Essentials (Beginner) course is perfect for those who are new to firearms or who want to refresh their skills. You will learn the basics of pistol safety, handling, and shooting techniques in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the course, ensuring that you feel confident and comfortable with your new skills. Sign up today and take the first step towards becoming a responsible and skilled pistol owner.
Don't worry if you don't have a firearm. While it is best to use your own, we can provide one with all the accessories, but you need to bring your own 50 rounds of ammo. If you need one of our firearms, bring 50 rounds of 9mm range ammo. There is no store on site to purchase ammo. Range fee included.
What We'll Teach
Self-Defense Firearms Basics
This lesson will introduce you to a wealth of information on different types of self-defense firearms including handguns, home defense shotguns, and the AR-15 platform, where Michael Martin provides easy to understand explanations of the common terms used so frequently. The goal of this lesson is to de-mystify what can sometimes feel like a topic reserved for experts.
