What You'll Learn
This class is thorough with valuable information and exceeds the minimum standards mandated by law for the permit application process. Nevada concealed firearm permits has reciprocity with 31 states and is valid for a period of 5 years.
The material covered will include: law, responsibilities, ethical considerations, firearms training and qualification as mandated by law. This course is a LVMPD approved, Sheriff and Chief's Association sanctioned course, taught by a Defensive Firearm Instructor with a former law enforcement background.
This course is a Metropolitan Police Department requirement. A CCW permit depends on the applicant's participation and successfully completion of this required course as well as the background investigations.
Qualifications: Any person who meets the following criteria may apply for a concealed firearm permit:
. Nevada resident of Clark County. . Former, Retired and Current Military (Medically Discharged with appropriate documentation). . An out-of-state resident who received firearms training in Clark County. . 21 years of age or older. . Ability to understand and demonstrate the responsibility of safe firearm ownership. . Must be able to lawfully possess a firearm. . Must have the personal confidence to carry concealed in public. . pay LVMPD appropriate fees
Note: Firearm Safety is included in this class. Registration is required.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. For any reason. Be sure you registered for the correct class.

(either: CCSC or Robison Tactical Private Shooting Range) CCW Costs: $95.00 Nevada CCW - First Time + $15.00 ccsc range fee Current or former Military, Law Enforcement, First Responder, or Current USCCA Member. Identification must be provided. Course includes: NRS material, state proficiency test, state permit application, firearm safety standards, approved B27 target for pistol qualification. Range fee NOT included. You will walk away from this course empowered as a safer and more responsible firearm carrying citizen.
