What You'll Learn
*** Please contact me directly if you need a Renewal Course, you can email me at: anthony.barber@agservices-nv.com or call me at (775) 293-0999, Thank You.*** (7) hours of class room instruction, this will consist of USCCA Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals and NRA Basic Pistol Lessons, plus a (1) hour range safety/shooting qualification. By the end of the course of instruction, you will:
- Successfully completed a course of instruction and demonstrated proficiency in basic firearm knowledge and the safe handling of firearms.
- Successfully completed a course of instruction and demonstrated proficiency in ammunition knowledge and the safe handling of ammunition.
- Successfully completed a course of instruction and demonstrated proficiency in the cleaning and the care of firearms.
- Successfully completed a course of instruction and demonstrated proficiency in storage and child proofing firearms.
- Successfully completed a course of instruction and demonstrated proficiency in handgun shooting techniques and positions.
- Successfully completed a course of instruction in the laws pertaining to the use of firearms in the State of Nevada and the County in which the application is submitted.
- Successfully completed a course of instruction in the use of deadly force, the force continuum, civil and criminal liability.
- Successfully completed a course of instruction in the knowledge of avoiding criminal attack and controlling a violent confrontation.
- Successfully completed a course of instruction and demonstrated proficiency in firing a handgun and range safety.
- Successfully completed and passed a written examination and a firearm qualification course as required by the Nevada Sheriff's and Chief's Association.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.

One day course, Classroom & Range. New Concealed Weapon Permit Cost: $125, with USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Book. Cost: $100, without Book. Renewal for Concealed Weapon Permit Cost: $105, with USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Book. Cost: $80, without Book. These costs do not include permit fees required by the White Pine County Sheriff’s Office. For class, you will need note taking materials and pens or pencils. New: (8AM-5PM) + Range Qualification (you will be given a 1 hr. Lunch Break) Renewals: (8AM-1PM) + Range Qualification There is no live ammunition allowed in the classroom at any time. Please leave your firearm and ammunition secured in your vehicle. For Live Fire Range, your pistol with at least 2 magazines, a holster, 30 rounds of ammo and eye and hearing protection. (5:30PM-6:30PM) The range is located outdoors, so dress accordingly for the weather on your class date. Please wear appropriate clothing, tee or long sleeve shirts, pants or regular length shorts.
