What You'll Learn
Defender Series. This is the complete concealed carry series of trainings to include: Firearm Basics (Proper Fit & Gear), Violent Encounters and the Aftermath, Developing a Personal Protection Plan, Defensive Pistol with Less than Lethal Options + "Parking Lot Tactics", the Legal Use of Force and a one-on-one training session with Firearms Trainer Cindy Frost to complete your live fire range qualifier. With successful completion of these course modules + demonstration of firearm safe handling and proficiency, students will receive a certificate of completion to submit with the county as a necessary step towards obtaining their Concealed Carry Permit. If you already have your permit, this training will still be tremendously beneficial. Please call or text if you have further questions: (406) 961-5375. The range portion will be held at a private facility to ensure the best possible experience. It will be scheduled at a suitable time for each attendee, not to exceed three weeks after the last module unless a plan is made ahead of time. We are happy to work with you! If you need additional range time and training beyond the one hour, we are happy to provide it at the rate of $70 each extra hour needed. Most beginner level students benefit from one hour of additional time. Most intermediate+ level students readily complete the course of fire within the one-hour session. Please reach out to schedule your range time any time after week 4. If you seek the newly issued Montana Enhanced Permit, note that it requires a longer live fire range qualification. Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded. In the event of a demonstrable emergency, if notified within 24 hours of the class, a refund minus 20% transaction fee, may be applied to a separate Pistol & Pluck, LLC invoice. This credit will be honored for 30 days from the date of the missed class.
What We'll Teach
Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals with Simulations
This real-world self-defense scenario training is designed to improve your mindset and skills, regardless of experience level or background, in a safe and controlled environment. You can practice making split-second decisions, which will help you to understand the legal use of force. This is one of the most practical and effective ways to recognize when — or if — the use of deadly force is justified. Test your knowledge and learn from realistic situations that you could encounter in your daily life. Simulation training scenarios activate students’ mental and physical responses to mimic real self-defense scenarios, giving you a deeper understanding of how you’ll react under pressure.
